Guía de compras Primavera 2014 | Spring 2014 Shopping guide : Chanel Notes de Printemps

 

Estar tan cerca de Estados Unidos pero recibir las colecciones de maquillaje mucho tiempo después tiene efectos positivos y negativos.  El lado negativo es que después de ver que mis queridas makeup addicts allá ya tienen los productos, yo también los quiero.  Sin embargo, la parte positiva es que en tanto las colecciones llegan aquí, yo ya tuve la oportunidad de leer algunas reseñas y hacer una selección de lo que me parece vale la pena comprar y lo que no.  Hoy les comparto mi guía para la colección de Primavera 2014 de Chanel, una de mis marcas favoritas y que la primera que llegó a Estados Unidos.

Being so close to the US but getting their collections way afterwars has a positive and negative effect.  The negative one is that you see your fellow American makeup addicts already using the stuff and really wanting to get the stuff yourself.  However, the positive part is that when the collections arrive here, you have already read a couple of reviews on the items and can make a wiser choice of what is worth getting and what isn’t.  Today I’ll be referring to Chanel Spring 2014, one of my favorite brands and the first one to hit counters in the US.

En esta colección predominan los tonos ciruela, rojos y rosas, y afortunadamente no hay tantos tonos pasteles, ya que esos se me ven bastante mal –y me parece también al consumidor promedio en México.  Me agrada que incluye ciruelas, pues es un tono favorecer en pieles cálidas medias y medias bronceadas.  Aquí están los productos de la colección, no estoy segura que todos lleguen a México ya que la marca decide qué traer dependiendo de su pronóstico de lo que se venderá acá.  También incluyo links a reseñas, y agregaré más a medida que las encuentre.

This collection features mostly mauves, reds and pinks and fortunately it’s not a super pastel shades oriented, since those tend to look terrible on me –and I guess on most costumer over here.  I’m really happy it includes mauves that can be really flattering on warm medium / medium tan skintones.  Here are the items on the collection, not sure all of them will arrive to Mexican counters since each country selects the ones they feel will be more sold, and reviews of them that I’ve read (will be adding more as I find them):

Selecciones: dado que ya no me gustan los productos de Chanel para labios, salvo por los Glossimers, mi selección sería Sonate, Diapason y Chamade, y tal vez Intonation, Impulsión y Melodieuse o Fogueuse.

My personal picks: since I’m no longer keen on Chanel lip products, except for Glossimers my picks would be Sonate, Diapason and Chamade, and maybe Intonation, Impulsión and Melodieuse or Fogueuse.
